I have EZ drummer, I have always been confused as to wheather these files and the expansion files are WAV FILES or MIDI,
Files, Were they originally recorded as Audio and then converted to MIDI?

There is no sound to midi, midi is just a code.
All EZdrummer and Superior products are essentially recorded sounds. However you need midi to trigger those sounds. You can make the midi yourself, but Toontrack have provided midi for you.
Both sound and midi is recorded. The sound recordings are of a very high quality. Midi (code) can be recorded anywhere – in an office, in your bedroom etc…..
Two completely separate things come together in EZdrummer – sampled audio and midi files.
