MIDI Triggers in Standalone but not as a VST in Reaper

Hello.  I am brand new to Superior Drummer 3.  I am using a 2018 Macbook Pro and a Focusrite 18i20 Gen 3 to record my Roland TD-25.  When I open up the Superior Drummer 3 Program, my TD-25 is perfectly setup to the drum kit I am using and I can hit each pad and cymbal with no issue.

 

However, when I load up Superior Drummer 3 into Reaper, I get “no MIDI device found” within the reaper program itself.  I have tried many other options now from restarting my computer, to reinstalling drivers but I just cant seem to have my Roland play MIDI within my Reaper program.

Hi,

this is more a Reaper question but if I were you, I’d start with going into the Reaper Preferences and check under MIDI Devices if you can find your Focusrite 18i20 and Enable it.
