In EZDrummer2, filter for “Latin” in the Genre column of the [SEARCH] tab.

and don’t forget to enable “Show Web Shop MIDI” so you can audition/preview those Toontrack MIDI packs that you don’t currently own (yet).

I assume the genre filter works only for those clips I already own. I was wonder what midi packs (if any) had Latin beats included.

But maybe the Show Web Shop Midi” is what you’re referring to.(Though I don’t see that in EZD2 nor on the website.)

See pic. You can search the entire Toontrack catalog of MIDI.

I found the Show Web Shop Midi button, but after 30 minutes it still is showing “Check for Updates” I have a pretty fast internet connection, so I guess it’s just a fact that I have only the clips that came with EZD2 and the Latin EZX – it’s probably searching through thousands of clips and building a temp library with them. Certainly not practical.

Patience is a virtue. Despite the long time it took, it was worth it. A great way to help me determine which midi packs to buy as well as showing me what EZXs I may want instead.

Sorry for the multiple posts answering my own questions.
