If used in a DAW I can send the midi to another instrument.
I used it when using tracker. I sent the midi out to another midi track and recorded it.

Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
Superior Drummer (as well as the other ToonTrack instruments) can send MIDI from almost all of its functionality. I’ve used it to audition grooves with other instruments, such as Logic’s Drum Designer.
