Much easier to use midi in Cubase with drum maps. I use Cubase 12 and keep all my midi in Cubase.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

Are you aware that there’s a Nudge? Does that work? Under the Options Menu you can adjust Nudge Increment.

You might try the “swing” slider in the Edit Play Style grid editor. It works in tandem with the note resolution setting according to the manual.

    SD3 3.4, EZK2.1.3, EZ Bass 1.3.1, Win11, i9/9900, all SSDs, 64g RAM, Cakewalk, Studio One

I’m guessing this means there isn’t an “offset” function built into the plug in then. Is there a Toontrack “wish list” I can add it to for future updates?

    Thanks

Shootie is correct. This is what the nudge function is for: pushing or pulling the beat. You would select your kit piece or hits and nudge them back or forward. You have complete control as to which pieces your want to push or pull.

The nudge function sounds like it will do what I need, but in a very labour intensive way.
It sounds like I would need to select each part in each pattern separately and nudge them forward the same amount, just to get a drum part to push overall. Both BFD and Addictive Drums have the facility to incrementally offset the DAW sync forwards or backwards overall. It would be very useful if SD3 could do the same.

Shift-click (or shift lasso) your articulations and nudge. Not labour intensive at all.
