I create my bass tracks with the keyboard and mouse. If I place a note, in studio one, its either muted or sustained. For instance, If I place the note on C, it sounds muted but as i curser up or down it could be muted or sustained….the notes sound fine when the track is played it just makes it difficult to create.. If I play notes on the EZ Bass program they will stick sometimes (see pic)
I had this happen a couple times in Studio One 4 and 5 but it would fix itself after the program was restarted…now i cant figure out a solution.
I’ve tried restarting the computer and the program.I’m hoping its and easy fix like a shortcut key or something like that…or reinstalling EZ Bass.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
so its not EZ Bass…
I just dropped a Presence plug in on the same channel and its doing the same thing. Gotta be a setting in Studio One. still need help!
Hi there,
You mentioned keyboard, do you mean computer keyboard or a MIDI controller? If the latter, what kind of MIDI keyboard is it?
Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro (always up to date)
DTX Express III (Extreme triggers), Nektar LX88
OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5
2020 Macbook Pro 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD Audio(mobile rig)
Is there any sustain info on the midi track that you’re dropping these plug-ins on?
Hello
Its now working properly!
Its just a computer keyboard. BUT, I did decide to plug my M-Audio Oxygen midi keyboard in to see if it did the same thing. Plugged it into the computer and then added it to Studio One. Before I tried to play notes on the M-Audio I used my mouse one more time and the now its working the way it should. Don’t know if studio one recognizing there was now an actual midi controller connected it may have cleared up the problem…?
Any thoughts?
Anyways, Thank You for your reply 🙂
