Hello. I have been using Superior drummer2 for years.
I only use the solo version ( standalone) and I play the drums live with midi drum pedals —one for KD and one SD and a couple of others for toms etc
I’m thinking of upgrading to SD3
I layer the sounds using midi nodes so I can get cymbals rim shots and other articulations using velocity ( In SD2)
Can this be done in SD 3? I’ve have spent a lot of time searching for this answer but can’t find it.

Hi,
MIDI nodes do not exist in exactly the same way in SD3, but you can Stack sounds on a position (both Toontrack Instrument articulations and your own samples) and set a velocity Gate for your Stack Members.
