Anyone experienced in midi mapping. I need a little help. I have some grooves in BFD3 and Superior 3 I would like to play both plug ins at the same time. How can I sync up the midi maps the easiest way?
BFD has the midi notes in piano roll notes and Superior has them in numerical sequence. How can I get the kick drums to play at the same time on the midi note from the same midi pattern for both plug ins?
It depends on how you wish to go about it.
If you want to use Toontrack MIDI with BFD3, you need to re-map the drums in BFD3 to trigger correctly from the Toontrack MIDI grooves.
If you wish to use BFD3 MIDI with SD3, you need to create a MIDI In Preset in SD3 where you select e.g. the Kick Hit on note #36, then click ‘Learn’, then send the Kick Hit note from BFD3 to SD3. Repeat for each drum.
Alternatively, you get the EZplayer Pro plugin which can convert MIDI files to and from different formats.
