Adding to this is it also possible to show key and note number in all locations? can be confusing putting in note numbers for some and then looking at note letters on other. Especially as mine don’t always match up.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

I’m not sure where you experience this problem, but in the MIDI Mapping and MIDI Monitor box menus (three horizontal lines in top right corner) you can select to show note number or key names. Changing in one of the boxes will show the same in MIDI Mapping, MIDI Monitor, and in the MIDI Mapping Keys view. Screenshot-2018-10-12-at-09.18.58

In MIDI In settings you are always shown both key name and note number.

    Hi, again a newbie here.

I want to physically print a midi map (i.e. midi notes) of my drum part I recorded in SD3 for a friend. Is this possible? Not sure where to look.

    Hi Allan,

each library has a MIDI Layout PDF accessible via the Help > About Sound Libraries menu.

    Does this suffice?

    Hi John,

    Perfect!

I wasn’t sure where to look, but now I do!

Thank you for getting back to me so quick!
