I’ve just purchased version 3.0 & I have to say I overly thrilled with it. The sound & visuals are far improved from 2.0. But, my biggest fear before switching has become realized, all of my previous songs which I was working on in 2.0 which I wished to migrate to 3.0 have completely misaligned midi note values. Side-sticks where toms should be, chinas in place of crashes, ride patterns all over the place now…arg! Complete workflow collapse. Is there any sort of hack or fix to this, so that I am not up shit’s creak with my previously programmed songs? Thanks

You can save your mapping in SD2 and then open it in SD3. I’m not in front of my computer but that’s how I did it.
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
To use your MIDI mapping from Superior Drummer 2:
1. Save your MIDI Map within Superior Drummer 2
2. In Superior Drummer 3, open the “MIDI Mapping” panel located on the right side of the interface of the Drums Tab
3. Click the “MIDI In/E-Drums Settings…” button
4. In the upper left of the “MIDI In/E-Drums Settings” window, click the dropdown menu most likely labeled “Default”
5. Scroll down to the menu item labeled “S2 User Preset” to select your Superior Drummer 2 MIDI map (see screenshot below)
