Does anyone use a didgital drum kit with EZ Drummer?? so a drummer can access the EZ Drummer sounds.
If so how would you configure the drums to match the EZ Drummer kit as there is no midi mapper in EZ Drummer.
Hi,
EZdrummer only has got E-drums support when you use it together with Toontrack solo and the E-drums MIDI Controller option ticked. Toontrack solo input transforms the MIDI correctly.

Also make sure whatever kit you are using is outputting MIDI as GM (general MIDI). Alot of e-kits use proprietary MIDI messages for most of their onboard kits that will send erroneous messages to EZ Drummer. For example I use a Yamaha DTXtreme III kit and if I have the module set to one of the “standard” kits it sends tom hits from my hi-hat and sends hi-hat sounds from my tom rims (since GM format doesn’t have sounds for tom rims or as many different sounds as the hi-hat does on the DTX). When I switch the module over to “GM Kit” it works fine, just not as many sounds available (no differentiation between hi-hat edge and bow, no 3-zone cymbals or toms)
