Midi Libraries not Adding Automatically

    Renaming those folders is asking for trouble. If you don’t rename them, they appear in the intended order in the SD3 browser and their databases will function.

    Well, it didn’t show up after I installed like your above pic, then I did Midi restore and it showed up in a weird spot, I checked the Midi folder and saw the name having a weird number compared to other SDXs so I renamed it with a number within the range of SDXs. It worked so I am good… just not sure why it had such a strange number in the install content folder.

    In any case, my bigger annoyance is why a lot of folders have to be added manually after a restore.

    Hi,

    if you rename folders, any update released for the MIDI will not work.

    As for the other question, could you please post a screen shot of the contents of your ‘EZdrummer\Midi\’ folder in the Finder together with a screen shot of the Groove Browser after a MIDI Database restore?

    Have you performed a Custom install of your ‘EZdrummer’ location?
