Right click (option-click) on any knob, button, or fader on The Mixer tab.

Thanks but I tried that. The steps are (should be) rather straight-forward. Like I noted, the software is receiving midi but the corresponding knobs/faders don’t respond.

Did you select the device in the EZD2 Audio/MidiSetup>MidiDevice menu? Assuming you’re working in EZD2 Standalone.

Yup. I am primarily controlling the drummer with my Polyend Seq sequencer (which works just dandy), but have also “checked the boxes” for the Keylab to control the knob/fader parameters within the mixer as well as the master volume control.

If I could get the CCs from the drummer (usually such things can be found at the end of a manual), I would just manually map it within the Keylab as a User edit but Toontracks doesn’t seem to divulge the CCs for knob/slider/master volume — at least no where I can find.

I don’t know your device. Check the manual for a HUI mode/setting if you’re not already familiar.

**For my little Akia controller it’s mandatory to use the included Akia software to get the mapping right in EZ. Might it be like this for yours as well?

Ok, I’ll look in to that. Since we are on the subject, are you aware of the CCs for EZdrummer? I’d really just as soon map it all out on my controller anyway.

No. I’ve never heard anyone discuss them except when it comes to edrum articulations. Searching the term here, which you can try at the top of the page, doesn’t bring back anything obvious for your cause. If no one swings by with anything tangible in this thread, you could try support which can be contacted at the bottom of any EZD2 FAQ page.

Most answers to EZD2’s limitations, which I’m not sure if this is one yet or not, is crossgrade to Superior.

If you figure it out on your own, don’t forget to post back here your solution.

Of course! This is a great product and seems like interesting and attentive posters. I’d like to add to knowledge if I can offer any! 🙂

After a night’s sleep I went in to give it another try . . . and OF COURSE it was dumb, user error! 🙂 I was using the default MIDI channel on my controller (channel 1) when I assigned channel 5 for purposes of EZdrummer.

Thanks for motivating me to revisit the obvious!!!

Thanks for reminding me to ask people what channel they’re sending on lol
