I’m using an AKA MPK mini 3 that I’ve previously used plenty of times. I had no trouble connecting with it prior, haven’t updated my OS or Logic Pro X since. Though I might have updated SD3. The keyboard functions fine within Logic. If I create a new software track with SD3, I can control the drums but I can’t interact with SD3 with my mouse. If I open a previous saved session with SD3 I have no control with the keyboard at all. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Seeing as you mentioned Logic Pro. If you are using SD3’s timeline, rather than Logic’s instrument track, write a blank MIDI region into Logic’s track as it is probably shutting off SD3 thinking that the track is not being used.
Otherwise, you can disable this feature in the preferences.

Thanked by: Prey TorcheThanks, how can I just disable the feature? I always use SD3’s workflow, never Logic’s piano roll etc. And this is the only MIDI I use, so I’m not very well versed in it within Logic.
