When assigning specific MIDI values on my Alesis DM10 MKII Pro, the values seem to be received correctly by EZdrummer, but sometimes they get remapped on the fly to a different value.
In the screenshot attached, I’ve hit the crash which I’ve assigned MIDI value 28. It should go to the highlighted cymbal 1, for articulation 28.
MIDI in shows 28, but then shows an arrow to 55, and the little splash cymbal is played instead.
What is this behavior? How can I turn it off?
Thank you!
Set E-Drum to none. Start from there before selecting another preset. If you have full mapping control on your module, you should be all set with “None”.
