Midi Files with EZDrummer

Okay, so if I’m right, you can map the midi which you recorded from a midi controller/instrument in your DAW to the sounds of EZDrummer. Yes?

If that’s the case, is it then possible to create a midi file outside of the DAW (say in Guitar Pro), insert them into your DAW and then have the sounds of EZDrummer on it?

Hi,

and thank you for your interest in EZdrummer.
EZdrummer plays back any GM Compliant MIDI, so yes, it will work as you describe it as long as you follow the GM drums layout. It also works with Toontrack MIDI and 3rd party EZdrummer formatted GM Extended MIDI.
