good afternoon all. Can’t get my head round this . Please assist if you can!!
I recorded live drums into reaper. I did a tempo map so there would be a handy click for overdubs etc.
I exported the live drums then loaded them into superior drummer tracker. I had superior drummer set up as a plugin on reaper rather than standalone – not sure if this makes any difference (?). Tracker did its magic and converted the drums to midi. BTW tracker picked up on the tempo map i’d created in reaper.
All goes well when i play back in reaper using tracker set to “follow host”.
When i export the midi from tracker and import it to a fresh track in reaper, though, it is out of sync. Tracker offers various tempo menu options – tracker tempo map, follow host or song track, tempo map from selected song track tab. I’ve tried them all and no joy. i’d be glad of any guidance!
