MIDI Export in Logic X Missing Random Notes in SD3 Import

Hi

Having a very odd issue for the first time after many successful exports of MIDI SD3 drums to export stems, where after importing the MIDI into SD3 it is missing random bass drum notes. Im not super versed in the MIDI grid editor within SD3, but it seems the notes are there just at zero volume? Anyone have any experience with this? Again I have successfully exported/imported MANY tracks for sessions etc.

I’m not quite sure I understand the problem. Where is this midi coming from? Could you ellaborate on your import/exporting process?
Another scenario might be that you have a mismatch in terms of note-mapping from samples. Generic/logic generated midi might not work out of the box so be sure to select “logic” from the midi menu inside SD3.

Maybe this helps: The best way to get midi from logic directly into any toontrack product is hitting record inside the plugin while you have the midi loaded on your track. You won’t have to export/import midi again while working inside your DAW.
