Sorry, complete noob question here. I can load EZ drummer into a Logic Pro X track and compose songs from midi clips in the EZ drummer interface. But, when I drag and drop the midi song sections that I then create into the logic pro sequencer itself (into the blank track that EZ drummer is already set as the instrument for), instead of the midi data going into the EZ drummer track [yes, I’m dropping it ON that track], Logic creates two new tracks, both with instrument set to pianos. Both tracks are software instruments, and the top one is empty of midi data (as far as I can tell, it’s empty of any midi instrument triggers at any rate), the other one has all the midi instrument triggers in it (except by default it’s now being played on a grand piano instead of the EZ drummer drum kit!).
I can easily work around this problem by now dragging the midi data sitting in the piano track back up to my EZ drummer track, but I don’t think I should have to do this, and I don’t know why this is happening. I’m worried that as I experiment with multi output I’ll have more issues or that this will create problems in larger projects.
I suspect I somehow have some midi import setting in logic set incorrectly, but any input anyone has would be great!

Update, EZdrummer and bass seem to be working properly on the midi drag and drop now but the bug is still an issue with EZkeys.
EZdrummer version: 2.2.1
Operating system: macOS Big Sur (11)
I believe there will be a fix for that in the next update of EZkeys. I do not have an ETA however.

Thanked by: MalinariHello,
I have this exact issue with EZKeys. Very frustrating. I drag my data in from the EZKeys sequencer and I get 2 Steinway Grand Piano Tracks in Logic Pro. Is there any work around for this? An ETA on the fix?
thanks
Hi, no set date but it is in Beta, so *shouldn’t* take long unless something else surfaces
