The manual is a bit scarce on this topic. So far, I have determined that I can TRIGGER Beatstation via MIDI, but I have not found acceptable ways to CONTROL Beatstation via MIDI. For example, to use MIDI CCs to change fx 1 and fx 2 volumes, etc.
I would like to be able to 1) stop REX or MIDI loops that I have triggered via a controller button, 2) change master and fx volume(s), or individual pad volumes, 3) send program changes to access and use different pad layouts (or perhaps just to select one of the five samples stored in a pad). There are more things that come to mind, but these needs are a good start to make this a viable live performance solution for me.
In short, specifically what IS currently “controllable” or “triggerable” via an external MIDI controller, in standalone mode?
