I am interested in purchasing MIDI Packs for EZ Drummer 2. I previously purchased the Music City expansion pack for Superior Drummer and it comes with MIDI content named “Music City” and this content can be accessed by EZ Drummer 2. Is the EZ Drummer 2 MIDI pack content the same as the MIDI content included in the Superior Drummer expansion, or is the content different. I don’t want to purchase duplicate MIDI content.
Yes. Per the product description:
‘The Music City USA MIDI comes from the Superior Drummer 2.0 sound expansion with the same name.’
There are other MIDI packs that are the same as the MIDI from SDXs and EZXs. But, it is mentioned in the product description so you’ll know.

I find this too confusing. Is the Jazz MIDI pack the same as the midi grooves contained in EZX Jazz? I already have EZX Jazz and don;t want to pay for something I already have. I also found it confusing when buying the recent reggae kit and midi pack.s I really think you guys should make things clearly somehow. Maybe make a separate category for Jazz packs that come bundled with drums? Please advise.
On the product page of each MIDI pack, it will say whether or not the MIDI is the same MIDI as from an EZX or SDX library. The Jazz MIDI pack doesn’t say it is taken from any EZX or SDX.
Another example:
From the Americana MIDI pack product page:
‘Please note that this is the same MIDI as included in the Americana EZX.’
