    Hi,

    you’re on Windows, right?
Are you running 64-bit versions of both plugin and standalone?
If you open both Standalone and plugin and turn the Metronome volume down all the way and then close both, is it still unnaturally high next time you open either of them?

Correct, Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit. I tried what you suggested…no change. Volume in EZdrummer standalone can only be reduced by 12db (from settings). This click is SO loud that I thought it was going to blow my speakers. Even if I turn down my computer’s volume (which is not what I want to do) the click is MUCH louder than the actual drums.

Here’s the deal…my recording computer isn’t connected to the internet. Getting EZdrummer 2 and all the sound libraries installed was a pain. Can I uninstall and then reinstall EZdrummer 2 without losing all my sounds and midi packs? Maybe that will reset whatever has happened?

    Hi,

uninstalling EZdrummer 2 and reinstalling it should not affect EZX and MIDI.

Out of curiosity, if you go to ‘C:Program Files (x86)ToontrackEZdrummerClicks’ and listen to the click files there, do they sound louder or lower in volume than what you experience in EZdrummer 2?
