I was wondering if anyone else experiences this:
using Digital Performer, every time I drag a pattern from the EZ Drummer browser to a track, DP also adds a meter change (at the same point) in it’s conductor track. And this is regardless whether it needs to be changed or not. This will lead to, say, many instances of 4/4 in the conductor track. Easy enough to delete them, but it would be more of a headache if/when dragging, say, 6/8 patterns, set at 1/2 speed into a track written in 3/4.
This “curiosity” has existed for quite some time (though it wasn’t always so), including with the latest updates (of both DP and EZ Drummer 2). Is it something in the way DP handles the patterns (though this doesn’t happen when using one of the Native Instrument drum PI’s)?
