I’ve been thinking about buying the Metalheads EZX pack for EZdrummer, I noticed that its mixer has 14 channels.
Are there more outputs available to my DAW than the standard 8 (I think) that you get in the standard EZdrummer?
In some DAWs, you can split the outputs (on the receiving end, in your mixer) into Mono aux inputs. So you could for example put both your kick(s) and snare(s) on channel one, and pan the kicks hard left, and the snare hard right. Then in your DAW the 1L channel will be your kick, and 1R would be the snare. Pro Tools does it like this. But not all DAWs can do it. In Studio One you can’t do it like this without a convoluted method involving the Dual Pan plugin.
