Metal Machine EZX and Reaper w/multiple pattern sources

Hello,

I have been working with Metal Machine on EZ2 for well into a year now. I am having an extremely frustrating problem: I have bought several Toontrack brand Midi pack, and I also use some patterns I had from an Alesis SR-16, as well as some 3rd party midi files. I am using the Metal Machine kit, and when I load files into Reaper, I am not getting the some midi notes. I am getting different drum notes entirely. Is there anything you can recommend to alleviate this problem?

There’s a good chance that you need to find in preferences a setting that will compensate for the midi default of reaper.

In other words if most midi from let’s say 3rd party midi is d1 for Kik it could be d2 in reaper for some reason it’s different in reaper..

Google it and they will tell you how to find that compensation preference… Could be your issue
