Metal Machine EZX 1.0.0. Should I install 1.1.1 first or do I only need to install the updates?

Hi, I have upgraded to EZD 2, and now I want to update my installed Metal Machine EZX 1.0.0. Should I install 1.1.1 first or do I only need to install the updates? Does this apply to all EZX’s? Thanks.
