Hi there. I’ve registered, installed and updated Metal Machine today, but can’t get it to show up in my drumkits. I’ve tried the standalone version and running it in Pro Tools, running 64bit on Windows 7.
I’ve spent 2 hours reinstalling the expansion and the updates for both EZ Drummer and the expansion, and I can’t find anyone else with this problem on Google. Any idea what I’ve been doing?
What version number shows on the EZD 2 interface? Does the Metal Machine EZX apart in the library drop-down menu (the orange menu at the top right of EZD2)? Can you post a pic of that expanded menu?

Hey Scott, I’m on version 2.0.2 (64-bit). I’ve not been able to see Metal Machine in the dropdown menu at any point since I installed it.
Can you post a pic of your EZD2 interface with the orange library menu expaned?

I’m really not sure what’s going on. Did you get any error message when installing the EZX? In the EZD folder on your hard drive where the sounds are installed, is there a Metal Machine folder with the sounds installed?
BTW, your Toontrack account only has EZD 2 and the Metal Machine EZX registered. How are you using the other expansion libraries?

I’m not sure why they’re there, but they’re asking for authorisation.
I’ve not had any error messages at any point, pretty sure everything is where it should be.
‘pretty sure everything is where it should be.’
I know…but humor me anyway and check the install location for the sounds. There should be a folder for the Metal Machine EZX sounds and there should be sound files there. Can you confirm that? If not, there could be a Windows permissions issue that isn’t allowing the installer to write to the disc. Are you logged in as administrator and do you have the UAC turned off when installing?
Also, can you post a pic of your MIDI browser page in EZD 2?
