Metal add ons

I have the death metal and modern metal add ons.  I am having trouble getting a good sound.  They sound pretty bad compared to the demo’s.  I am using them as a standalone through a behringer UMC 1820.  I have the monitoring knob all the way to the right to get the sound from the program but it sounds bad.

I imagine you’re referring to guitar tone and I agree with you. As much as I like EZmix for signal chains and even some bass tones, the guitar patches, especially the high gain ones, are pretty weak. I believe they all need a decent amount of post production to sound passable
