Hello,
I’m a little confused. Could someone please explain to me the difference between “expansion packs” and, say…..”EZ Drummer 3″? Is EZ Drummer 3 like a platform? Do I need a platform in order to use any of the “expansion packs”? And what’s a “midi”? Can anyone explain to me what the acronym “midi” stands for? I currently have EZ Drummer 2 and just downloaded the available updates. If I order an “expansion pack”, are those drum patterns and sounds that are added to my current library in EZ Drummer 2? How does this work?
Thank you,
Rick

*also, if on EZD2, do look at the compatibility on the product pages. Newer products only work with EZDrummer 3.

Ezdrummer is the platform. Expansion packs run within EZD and give you drum kits and MIDI drum bears. MIDI packs are drum beats only. MIDI is Musical Instrument Digital Interface.
