I am on the latest version of Superior Drummer 3.
Q:Is it possible to map one articulation to two MIDI notes?
(i.e. Snare Center mapped to MIDI notes, D2 and E2)
Yes, that is used in many of our libraries. If you select an articulations, the Hi-hat Closed Tip for example, and check in the MIDI Mapping property box, you’ll see all the notes that it’s using. If there are more than one note mapped to that articulation, you’ll see an expand arrow which you can click to see all the notes.
You can also open the MIDI Mapping Keys view, which highlights all the notes for the selected articulation(s).
In the attached screenshot, the Closed Tip is using notes 61 (which is it’s main note), and also 11 and 42. I have highlighted the interesting areas:
