I’m not quite sure what you are saying as you can change any.every single note number in sd3. There are two places to do this. If you do it in edrum settings then playing midi will not use the edrum settings. Then there’s the note settings on the main page which are best left alone as these will change the notes making midi presets won’t play the correct drums.

What are you changing and what is your aim. Sorry I’m not quite getting what you mean.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

    Good evening gentlemen.

go to the top right of the screen there is a button called show, in that box you can turn on or off all of the different windows for settings of each pad and midi mapping keys

you have: level, tuning, reverse, envelope and offset, pitch FX, velocity curve, velocity gate, soft hit level, midi mapping, voice and layer, hit variation, hi hat cc edit, smoothing, choke/mute triggers, midi mapping keys

A lot of the sections have three lines beside the on off button.these are options for that section. In each section, there are usually three lines to do more stuff with.

in the midi mapping section, you have the choice to see note numbers or keys  If you select keys, everything will be displayed in keyboard keys.

Here you can screw it up as much as you want. Good luck remembering it.
