I have my Alesis strike pro se hooked up to SPD3 and it works amazing. However when I try to use SPD3 in FL20 the hi hat mapping seems to be messed up. It cannot tell the difference between when my hats closed or open. The peddle works fine and it plays the nice chink sound when I use it but then if I actually try to play on it I get a splash as if the hats in the open position. I have verified the mapping and everything is the same as in spd3 when running outside of FL20.
I have a similar issue using a Roland TD 8 drum kit to trigger SD3. I could not adjust the hi hat to work with out the open sound not triggering it full volume no matter what I did. I spent several hours trying to adjust it using the learn feature and manually adjusting the pedal pad etc. in SD three. I also ran test that there is much more latency in the hi hat than any of the other Drums which caused issues when sequencing. My fix was using everything in the Sd3 kit except the hi hat and going back to using just the high hat from the TD8 kit for recording. I wish there was another solution but after this point and all the time I put into it this is my fix for now I hope that helps you
