Hi,
I added groove regions for each section of the song, using 8th notes, and specified the chord.
But I would like to have the bass follow the drums and I’m using Logic Drums, so I can create the drum midi file, and import it into the bass plugin. However, when I do, it overwrites all the work I did to map out the song chords entirely. There is just one groove region, playing the root note of the key signature….for the entire song.
I watched the video and saw that I did the order of operations backwards. I should have imported the drum midi, and then mapped out the chords for the whole song.
But now that I have done this work, is there a way to save the chord regions as a song or a part, and import it back over the top of the midi drum import, so I get a marriage of the drum accents, whilst playing the right notes?
Thanks
Yes!
You can use the replace MIDI function together with the different conversion options to achieve this.
Check the last section of this chapter in the manual: https://www.toontrack.com/manual/ezbass/7

Thanked by: ericguitarmanHi,
if I understand you correctly, you should be able to go to the Drums & Keys page, select the MIDI Part on the bottom of the Song Track, then drop your Drum MIDI in the drop zone and then choose the Style and use the ‘Replace MIDI’ function.

Thanks guys – I got it!!!!
Any way to change the song section labels, after the fact? I’m on a Mac.
See screen shot attached. All my sections are called VERSE, and I’d like to organize and have the sections correlate to my LOGIC arrangement tabs.
Thanks

right click the Song Part (verse), and change it to another Song Part type (Chorus for example).

Thanks for the help.
Right Clicking on a song part, highlights the region, but doesn’t uncover a menu or allow for typing a new name. (Mac Catalina/ Logic Pro X 10.5.0)
However, I was able to find what I wanted within the EDIT / SONG PARTS / SONG PART TYPE menu. It would be great if there was a command to reveal that immediately when highlighting a region.
Right clicking a block (Song Part, Chord, or MIDI) should bring up the Edit menu:
