Manually drawn midi notes not triggering drum sounds

Inserted a song block from EZD library into my track – using Cakewalk – and want to add a couple of additional beats to it.  I’ve drawn in a few additional midi notes – tom sound – manually which triggers the tom when I click on the midi note, but when I play the track it does not trigger.

What am I missing?

EZdrummer version: 2.2.2
Operating system: Windows 10

BEST ANSWER

Double check the channel you use.  I set my EZDrummer to run on channel 10, if the midi track runs on other channel, it won’t produce sound.
