Hi! I was just having this project. Had laid a nice soft groove in SD3, when I came to the part of the song where there is a ritardando. I can’t find any answers that cover this. Is it even possible in SD3 or EZ Drummer 3?! Anyone?
Hello Voxxa, it will certainly follow ritardandos when synced to your host DAW, as SD3 will follow all tempo changes, ( but not time signature changes)
im not sure if it’s possible to do this when SD3 is running freestanding.
That’s the problem, I’m running it not as freestanding but as a plugin in my DAW, Presonus Studio One 6. Admittedly, I’ve been a owner of SD3 for years but never dived deep enough to get familiarized with it. So there might bee things I’ve overlooked here. Still thanks for replying!
As was stated, keep the “follow host” button, enabled and adjust your tempo in your DAW. SD3 will follow along.
