Making libraries load to external HD on MacBook Pro using High Sierra Superior Drummer 3.1 New purchase .

Hi , I have been using EzDrummer two for quite awhile.
I just cross graded and installed Superior Drummer 3.1 on my Macbook Pro sing Hi Sierra
I have not installed libraries as I do not have the internal disk space I have been attempting to install the libraries (Down load them) to an external HD.
I continue to get an error message to the affect ” Not a valid location for libraries” When I open Superior Drummer 3.1 main interface
,the option to change library locations is greyed out .
Anyone have a fix for this one ? Any help would be much Appreciated .

You need to install the Library before you use Superior Drummer 3 – it’s not enough to just download it! You’ll need to install at least part 1 (of the total 5) library parts that you downloaded. The last 4 are optional.
