That looks like a macOS issue. Have you tried resetting your screen settings back to default?

    Thanks bro

I tried all that. Yeah but no joy it works fine and always has until I resized the SD3  window.

Ezy bass is perfect and has the same credentials of operation that works perfectly with the same screen settings so it’s specific to SD3 plugin and operation window when opened in logic

I can hear and play all the drums but cannot access any of the programme windows all I get is what you see in the screenshot

Not sure what “tried all that” means in this case.

Perhaps trash your Logic and Superior Drummer 3 preferences and see if that helps.

    Hi,

did you try to close Logic then open the SD3 Standalone app > Settings > General > Scale/Window >Reset Scale and Size?

    Thanks for helping

Hi Not sure how to trash the preferences & always reluctant to do anything I dont understand will work

also if I do once I work out how, will all my other plug in settings and settings in my songs be altered as well ?

or are they specific to each project ?

Can I just trash the preferences to SD3?

if so where will I find that (SD3 pref file )to trash and will that effect any setting in the audio outputs and drum patches already made in the songs ?

Finally This issue is totally specific to SD3 as the EZY bass window opens well and nothing has changed therefore its a graphics issue with SD3 alone & not screen settings or graphics

the issue arose when I tried to re size the SD3 window when using SD3 IN LOGIC pro

Hi John and all that has helped me with this issue

The Reset scale and size did not work in the stand alone version I did try this before once?

BUT  I then used the reset ALL button on the Botton LH of the window in the stand alone version

THIS has THANKFULLY cured the issue !!

I hope that anyone else having these issues can learn from this

I take it , the stand alone option is the default measure for all settings and logic looks at this to gain its settings parameters when opening ? is that correct.

Therefore the reset I have made in the stand alone is basically resetting the whole programme is that the right assumption.

Finally can you tell me in the View/Size/custom window size Tab.

What would be the measurements NOT to add here as THIS is the tab setting that caused the issue in the first place & it would be useful to know what would be  the largest and smallest parameters that could be added here & to be perfectly honest I cannot see how this option is useful as all the other size tabs work very well.  But this particular tab setting HAS caused this issue..

& when altering the window size is it ok to do this in the logic setting when being used or should it be done at source in the stand alone version first ?

Many thanks for all the interest

    Hi Steve,

the ‘Reset to Default Size & Scale’ in the ‘View’ Menu in the interface affects the current active plug-in state. E.g. you can set a Size and Scale in Logic and have a different Size and Scale in the Standalone or AAX version.

There is no general setting to avoid. What works for you on your system is the best setting.

The Scale/Window Reset in the Settings affects all plug-in states on the system and can be used for a situation like yours.

    John
