Hi,
I apologize in advance for my approximative english.
I have recently bought the complete collection of EZDrummer, to use it with my E-drum (module TD-9).
I got no problem with the installation, neither with latency, nor with triggering. I have just precised that the controller is an E-drum in Toontrack Solo and everything worked immediately (even the CC and the cymbals choke).
I ask a question in this section because the problem does not seem at all related to e-drum.
The sound volume is generally low and even very low on some extensions (jazz or Funkmasters for example).
Usually, I play with my headphone with a volume at about 50% with the internal sounds of my sound module. With EZdrummer, even with a volume at 100% (on the headphone output of my soundcard), the sounds remains at a rather low volume, I can hear the noises of the stick on the cymbals and even on mesh heads.
I know I have two natural choices to increase the volume : use the mixer to increase the volume of the EZDrummer track, increase the sensitivity of the pads. However, if I increase the sensitivity of the pads, I lose the dynamic (since soft hits are not so soft) and moreover I can already get full velocity hits without modifying this sensitivity. If I increase the volume of The EZDrummer track in order to obtain a “correct” volume, every sample comes with an annoying blow.
I do not know what I can try now, is there another way to increase the volume in a “proper” way (without getting a blow with the samples)?
