Tried everything to get working, but can’t find any solutions in this or other forum discussing this known topic.
Problem: When I click on the pads inside EZDrummer 2 I get good volumes in my speakers, however when I hit the pads on my Millenium MPS 850E I get much lower volume.
I tried to increase the sensitivity settings in the Millenium drum module, and I also installed a MIDI-monitor software on my computer, and if I hit the pads hard I get the maximum value of 127, so the incomming midi must be correct right?
If I turn up the volume in EZD2 (mixer or “gain” on the selected pad) to get a decent volume, if I click on the pads inside EZD2 it’s SUPER-loud.
Not sure how to solve this, any ideas? Please help!!
Drumset: Millenium MPS 850E
Software: EZDrummer 2
OS: Windows 11
Connection: USB (directly between computer and drumset )
Sound driver (if it’s called so?): ASIO4ALL
Hi,
when you click the drums in the interface, you produce a hit at full velocity, i.e. the hardest hit @127.
In EZdrummer 2, you have no option to edit the Velocity Curve for incoming hits as you have to some extent in EZdrummer 3 and even more so in Superior Drummer 3.
I would say the only option is to edit the velocity response in your module.

Thanks for the clarification, but if my midi-monitor (ok the computer) shows 127 and the sound triggered inside EZD2 is still low, much lower than clicking with the mouse inside EZD2, could the problem be the velocity curve settings on the drum module?
Did you ever figure this out. I’m having the same issue with my millennium MPS1000. Thanks in advance!
