Low Kick Drum Volume – AVX kit with Pearl Mimic Pro

This is strange. When trying to trigger the Clean Kits in SD3 using AVX kick and Mimic Pro, the kick volume is barely audible. Have to almost jump out of the seat to get the SD3 kick to trigger. Why is this strange? Because I do not seem to have this problem with any other kits in SD3 or even EZdrummer. Just the Clean Kits in SD3 seem to be effected, If I crank up the Input Gain on the module, which adjusts the sensitivity of the triggers, the kick in SD3 will trigger but at top velocity with barely a tap on the kick pedal. Again, seems to be just Clean Kits in SD3. I like using the Clean Kits because you can add all sorts of effects after the fact, but this is making them unusable because I have no dynamics at all. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!

Clean kits are unprocessed and have all of their dynamics. You were probably comparing them to one that is processed in some way.

Select the kick and adjust its individual level, no need to increase sensitivity in the module. Ride has also this issue, barely audible with the clean kits.

Thank you for the responses. I was concerned it was a trigger issue which would have been difficult to correct given that every other kit triggers fine.
