After installing S3, I’m getting a loud clicking sound after about 5 min. Is this some kind of error notification? Even after uninstall and reinstalling the exact same thing happened. I install S3, open Cakewalk by Bandlab, open the S3 softsynth to change the library settings. Wait about 5 min and it starts.
It stops when I close the song that is open using Cakewalk by Bandlab. If this is all it is then I’d ignore it, yet now this loud clicking sound shows up sporadically later while I’m working on a song and it even got embedded in a wav file I exported. I can easily upload this sound for anyone to hear.
It sounds like a metronome. It’s 1/8 notes at 166 BPM. Similar to a click track. But it’s definitely does not sound like the metronome in S3 or in Cakewalk by Bandlab.
I installed S3 in Dec with no problems like this, Then last week I reverted back to an Acronis image from 11/2/18 and installed Toontrack Product Manager and S3. Since the libraries were installed, I didn’t need to do that, only point to the libraries.
I have Nashville EZX, which I got with Superior 2, so both are installed. In Toontrack Product Manager, everything shows up as installed except Nashville EZX (I can’t fix this). I had the same problem in Dec, so I’m not sure if Toontrack Product Manager is generating this error sound. If it is, can I uninstall Toontrack Product Manager and still have S3 work ok?
If anyone can give any clues or info or solutions on this mystery I’d appreciate it
