Sometimes I forgot to turn on my RME Fireface 802 audio interface before starting SD3. In this case SD3 asks to start without audio: “Continue Without Audio”. The audio interface settings are gone after a power cycle followed by a restart of SD3. In other words:
o Turn off ASIO audio interface
o Start SD3
o Choose “Continue Without Audio”.
o Close SD3
o Turn on ASIO audio interface
o Start SD3
o The ASIO audio settings, inputs/outpus are set to the on-board audio interface and MIDI interface is unchecked.
I expected the same audio settings when the audio interface is powered again. I see the “Continue Without Audio” option as a temporarily unavailable audio interface. Or am I wrong?

Can someone have a look into this?
it’s the same with an UFXii. before i used an UFX connected via Firewire on windows7, i can’t remember issues there with it switched off BTW. With cubase f.i. you don’t have to exit to reconnect audio, but chances are you have to adress the UF ports again. J
Ok – so you wish for Superior Drummer 3 to remember the last functioning Audio Interface? We have discussed this before, and I agree – that is the way it should work. I will take a note of this and we’ll see what we can do about it. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you very much!
Hi,
Has anyone addressed this issue? I have SD 3 running previously on Mac and now Pc Win 11, and if I start sd3 before my audio interface (maudio8), sd3 will revert to pc audio and loose my mapped audio settings. Since I am mapped for mono and use this for live gigs, It’s a major issue.
Any fix?
