FU all..
Really? I doubt your attitude or lack of social skills will ingratiate Toontrack employees to you.
I have purchased more products from Toontrack than you (83), and while I think a loyalty discount would be nice, it’s not something that I feel that I am owed or entitled to. If I want something, I’ll buy it. If I have the patience, I might wait until it’s on sale. But the last thing I’ll do is insult and curse at the people who spend a lot of time and energy in creating all these great products. (Have you noticed the lack of replies to your posts????)
Maybe it’s time to pop that pimple?

Thanked by: Dmitry ShturmanTL:DR – Hey Tiger King, admin did respond… this was a response back. They saw it and they get a chubby when I’m online.
Let’s put this in a different light: you do realize what is happening in the western world right now, I hope. Otherwise, let me remind you that aside from millions of people unable to work because of the imposed “shelter in place“ orders, and wondering how their rent or mortgage is going to be paid aside from bills, food, and other expenses, the entire music industry is on life-support with one heartbeat away from flat lining.
This has a ripple effect to all of the software developers, and ToonTrack is no exception. If anyone needs a break, it is them. Some of us are extremely grateful that we are even able to take part in some of the weekend specials that they have been graciously putting up at this time. I am also certain that they are equally as grateful for every sale they make at this time.
From someone who has half the products you own, with the addition of the two you purchased and audaciously displayed, you have proven that you don’t need any discount for “loyalty”. While I would love to have purchased the exact same stuff that you had purchased, I know that is just not in the cards at this time, and I am totally grateful for what I have and do not need more!

Thanked by: ScottI will buy you them for helping me out. Mods bill me please or connect somehow for payment.
Not necessary as far as I am concerned. I help out in respect of all the mentors before me and not for anything in return. Turning out a good mix means more to me.

And yet you write posts complaining about not enough discounts or sales, and calling Toontrack employees “cheap bastards”.
You are rude, crude, and have zero social skills.
Toontrack is one of my favorite virtual instrument companies, and seeing your many selfish, demanding posts in their forums is just disturbing, and out of place. Especially when compared to all the good folks here that want to help others, like jord (Bear-Faced Cow).
Regardless of what we do for a living, we need to be musicians supporting musicians at this point in time. No one ever looks better by trying to make others look worse.
Everyone is hurting bad enough right now. Many live in fear. They all need music… so let’s help each other make music and demonstrate just how good Toontrack’s products really are.

Well said!
Things are moving along nicely if you're not in a hurry to get somewhere.
Many musicians do need a discount right now for that exact reason. On TT’s Facebook ads many (Hundreds) PPL as asking due to the circumstances. Most others are running loyalty discounts right now pulling in users and growing their communities. It would be a wise business decision for them to do the same in my NOT SO HUMBLE opinion.
And yes, while I may at times afford things I work for (prostitution), others can use the help right now (Which is the entire purpose of the original post as you clearly see IDGAF if they give one to me or not).
PS. Hey ‘Joe Exotic’, pull the plug from your ass, clean up that mess on your head and lighten up a bit. I know it’s tough out there for an INCEL – lets not make it too apparent shall we?

Let’s see if we can curtail the name calling shall we? Let’s make our points without having to lower to such a level.

Might even be more “profitable“ to focus on more important things, such as getting the punch out of your drum mix, as the OP wanted to figure out in another thread. The points obtained there might prove to be more valuable than what can be said here.

When I go on this forum I’m here for two reasons. 1. Information that I can use to make my experience with SD3 better and 2. To see if I can help someone else’s experience a little better. But unfortunately like Twitter and Facebook, I find myself wanting to defend my opinions or point out someone else’s shortcomings. DP, you may be the only person here that believes that somehow your rants are welcomed by anyone. Would I like a discount, sure. Do I think TT is being greedy by not giving us one, no. While I don’t keep track of my collections of kits, I do know I have all the greatest hits. I have more than enough kits to keep me busy until I’m able to go out and play a gig. That’s what I’m going to do, go through all of my kits and make sure I get the best out of them. I’m lucky enough to have a job that allows me to work from home so I consider my saved commuting time to be my time. That’s 2 hours a day. Not bad savings. You may want to count your blessings. If you don’t need to worry about money, you are certainly in a small minority. Also, unless you have experience as an actual prostitute, don’t disparage prostitutes. It’s probably the only profession older than being a musician.
That being said, if Toontrack put Orchestral Percussion on sale I’d buy it in a heartbeat.
But, they wouldn’t dare. That would be too genius. Just saying…
I figured(figuring) it out by using Ozone and RX for a few hours last night – isolating every damn freqs… I also multi tracked (SD3) into Logic and side-chained compressed the bass drum… this helped in some stuff. I also stacked the bass drum with some low level digital 808 stuff a few times. Im almost there. my test mixes are very outfront now…
Last thing to solve is getting the cymbal hits to sound more natural and not so centered in the mix using the over heads. Thanks for the direction. It helped.
