This is driving me Nuts! When my MIDI track is playing EZDrummer, I am getting a phase or flange effect (sound) that is even worse when I turn off the “Humanize” function. It’s not there when I use the grooves!
I can not find this solution to my weird sound issue ANYWHERE!!!
I am using an iMac 64bit with Logic if this helps anyone?

The first I can think of is that you have a MIDI loop in your Project. How is your environment set up?
Is the MIDI track in Rec/input mode when you play back the MIDI?

What can I say, I opened up a software instrument track, hit record, played along, played it back and Phase City!
Nothing is looped and Rec is disengaged.
Could it have anything to do with how I laid it down?
Also, I have Version 1.3.1

Well,
I would start with inspecting the MIDI that is phasing; if you select notes, delete them and there’s still one left in place you have to check your Input setup.
If you drag a groove from the EZdrummer Groove Browser to the Logic Timeline (try this with a new track) and it sounds as it is phasing, the problem lies elsewhere.

OK John… YOU ARE THE MAN! The “phasing” is coming from two identical notes lying right on top of each other. When I delete one… well you get the picture! I deleted about eight bars worth of “notes” at the beginning, solo’d the drum track, and let it play. Guess What, NO Phase in the first eight, and then it kicked in again after the portion where I deleted the “Dupes”.
So Next Up, How do I set this thing up so that I am not getting TWO of Everything?
Potential Problem: Using my KeyRig25 as my source (instrument), I have it connected via USB to my iMac AND MIDI connected to my Interface!

Bingo!
Use only one of them, the iMac will respond to/record both.

So Right! I will just keep it simple, forget settings for now, and just use one USB connection.
Thanks for your Help Man!
