Hi,
This is probably more of a Logic issue, but hopefully someone has been here, done that…
My problem seems to be a midi channel problem… I have sync working, sort of.
I would prefer not having to deal with the Environment, as I only wish to go there on Halloween, to get myself in the mood…
So, I load up EZPlayer on one track, Superior Drummer on another, do the ‘Follow Host’ thing in EZ, and drag a midi pattern variation
into the EZ track, pick the SD track, start Logic, and usually makes me happy. However, thinking I would like to play other
instruments along with the drums, when I add another instrument track with any instrument to play along with the drum pattern, the new instrument
hears the EZ midi, so it just plays back the drum pattern that is sitting on EZ. When I select SD, I’m back to hearing the drums.
I’ve set the channel strips in Logic for EZ to ch10, SD to ch10, other instruments to other channels, not 10, set the Map Wrap to Output Midi 10,
but everything seems to be in Omni mode.
Hope I explained my situation clear enough… brand new to LogicX, EZ, SD.
EZ = ver 1.2.0 SD = ? … haven’t found the ‘about SD2 button yet…, but just installed and updated
Thanks all
