To better understand the issue, we’d appreciate it if you could provide the crash report. This will help us investigate the problem more effectively.

Recently created crash reports can be found in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
This Library location might be hidden on your computer, so one way to get there is from the Finder menu at the top of the screen (Go > Go to Folder > ~/Library).

Well as it isn’t actually crashing, there is no report.
I have the option to “restore” -> scans the plugins again , or to quit the session.

one more thing. It doesn’t happen when I start Logic in Rosetta mode. But this isn’t an option as Logic does not have all its features in this mode.

Logic isn’t crashing but a helper process that loaded a plug-in probably did (even if there is no standard crash report dialog about it), so please look in the folder Rickard mentioned, using “Go to Folder”.

I’m not sure that’s the correct Library folder you’re in…? It should not be Macintosh HD > Library, but Macintosh HD > Users > username > Library.

    Olof,

Sorry, but there is no such library folder unter Macintosh HD > Users > username

    see screenshot

It’s hidden. That’s why we said to use “Go > Go to Folder”. Don’t miss including the ~ character at the beginning of the path.

Got something. There were folders hidden.

Here´s a report, which is the only one within this folder.

Macintosh HD > Users > username > Library > Logs > Diagnostic Reports

    See attached

Hm, that’s a week old crash (seemingly in the plug-in BassKnobSTD). We get no clues from there then.

You could try to remove all other plug-ins temporarily to see if it is really EZdrummer 3 causing the problem. (Move them out from Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components.)

Ok, get this message also if loaded only EZDrummer into a project.

But will get in touch with Bogren Digital as well.

Caused BassKnob this very issue about system stability? So i can forward them this .ips file

oh, and by the way. I contacted your support for the exact reason in April 2023. Maybe it helps if I give you the ticket from back in that time.

    It was #(157037)

Okay. Does the issue happen only during playback or when?

Have you updated to Logic 11.1?

No, out of a sudden. Not during playback at all.

Project is open and sometimes it´s all good and then randomly it pops up.

If I restore the project the frequency of this issue increases.

If I quit the project and quit Logic it feels like it´s better after next opening or at least it lasts longer until the next pop up.

Yes, I have Logic version 11.1. installed.
