Hey guys,
So apple have done it again and forced an update on my copy of Logic updating it to 10.5, and now when ever I try to load a preset in Superior Drummer 3, it causes the program to crash. Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone. I re-installed Logic X and that has solved the problem for me, since I’ve done that I’ve had no issues with crashing or presets recalling issues. It’s a pain but re-installing Logic seems to be the way forward.
I too have this problem. If I restart the computer sometimes SD3 works for like 2 minutes before it crashes. Has Toontrack confirmed this issue? I hope there will be an update soon!
Superior Drummer 3 version: 3.1.7
Operating system: macOS Mojave (10.14)See my previous message.
Wow, that really helped. I didn’t take that step because I yesterday updated to the latest version of SD3 in an attempt to solve the problem and the new version was validated then but still crashed. So simple just rescan and everything seem to work again. I’ve been working for an hour now without a problem!
The only way to get Logic to boot is to remove sd3 out of components. I tried re-installing Logic 10.5 and no luck.
This is a very frustrating problem that I am also dealing with. Every time I open superior drummer, the default kit loads, I can play it. Then if I switch to any other sound in Superior drummer, Logic immediately crashes and closes completely.

A crash log would be helpful. You can find them in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
, which you can get to using “Go to Folder…” in Finder’s “Go” menu. Please zip the file(s) before attaching.
