I have this logic/superior drummer (SD3) midi issue I wonder if anyone has resolved this or can steer me in the right direction
I’ve recorded midi data into logic onto a channel that has a plugin of SD3. Inside that SD3 I imported the same midi data from the logic that channel. This allows me to mute either region and then the SD3 plugin will be triggered by the midi data in logic or the midi data inside the SD3 plugin. I can A & B them in real time.
When I do this I get the performance I expect when I am using only the logic data.
When I use the midi that is imported into SD3, the hihat foot pedal no longer has the performance data and instead is playing more of an open note constantly.
So I’m assuming the data is there, but maybe logic is saving it as the wrong articulation so that when it gets made that pathway is saved as a different note or something? Anything helps, I’m so close to being able to edit its torturous. I’ve attached the file maybe someone can pen it and see if its just me?

Hi,
the SD3 Project might help, or better a zip archived version of the Logic Project (without any audio).
When I import this MIDI into SD3, I get a question which data to import and if I want to apply an E-drum Preset.
How did you import the MIDI to the SD3 track? Did you record it from the Logic Track?

John
