Hi
I am trying to set up superior 2.0 in Logic so that I can record the drum controller and simultaneously record another midi instrument. At present, my keyboard controller also plays the drums if I enable a keyboard and a drum track simultaneously. I used information in the manual to set up EZPlayer Pro so that channel 10 comes into the sequencer and triggers Superior 2.0, but that method bypasses sending any midi data to the sequencer track. i know there must be a way to do this, but I’m stumped.
Anyone able to help on this?
Thanks

I’m relatively confused about what you are trying to achieve. Logic includes very flexible routing through the environment so yes everything is possible but please break down the scenario so we can understand what should be triggering what as at the moment it is not crystal clear.

It sounds like you want to “split” your keyboard controller so it sends midi data on 2 separate midi channels; e.g. Channel 10 on lower octaves (which would play drums), and to, say, Channel 1 on upper octaves (playing piano, for example). Your keyboard controller may be able to do this (check your manual for “split”), if not there is likely a way to do it with midi mapping or the Environment in Logic. Good luck….
