Lock Highlights in Grid Editor EZ Keys 2

Can anyone tell me why this function would be used? I do not see a purpose. If I edit notes without this enabled the hilighted rows still remain hilighted.

If you change notes the chord may be reanalyzed and changed. Locking the highlight will leave the highlight intact, even if the chord changes🙂

So I assume this allows you to visually see the original chord despite the name change, yes?
